Longer bio: Multi-instrumentalist, desert-dweller Adrienne Knauer, known as "Dré" is a classically trained harpist who has boldly embraced the realm of electronic music to explore new dimensions of her craft. Dré’s expressive musical style is a testament to rebirth and renewal of both herself and of the ancient healing instrument she uses as her vessel. In 2024, she unveiled her groundbreaking self-produced EP, "Pearl" showcasing how a single harp can be transformed and woven into an intricate tapestry of futuristic sounds. An avid collaborator in the electronic world, Dré was invited to perform with talented DJs at Phoenix’s M3F Fest and has been seen jamming on art cars sailing through the desert at Burning Man, infusing her unique sound into vibrant communal experiences. Dré is on a musical quest to transport listeners into an alternate atmosphere through both the organic and warped sounds of the harp. She seeks to redefine perceptions of the harp as a 'dying' instrument, demonstrating that it is ripe for modern innovation. This is just the beginning of a thrilling harp renaissance.
